Le Marche Italy
The Dragoncello agriturismo is situated on a hillside immersed in a protected area of woodland that spreads over 500 hectares and is home to hundreds of wild animal species, many of them easily observed. Just a few minutes away by car is Camerino, a small town of ancient origins and notable artistic attractions dating from medieval and Renaissance Italy.

Marche Italy Colfiorito

Located on the edge of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, Dragoncello agriturismo is ideally positioned to allow visits to many important Italian artistic centres: Assisi (65km), Foligno (45km), Spoleto (65km), Perugia (90km), Macerata (40 km), as well as other destinations such as the Adriatic coast (65km), mountains such as Monte Vettore or the mysterious Sibilla (40km), and the magical Frasassi Caves (45km).
Walk around Dragoncello

Yet without venturing so far from the immediate confines of Dragoncello, wandering among the splendid woods that surround us, you will come across one of the oldest oak trees in Le Marche – an impressive living monument, unmoving witness to the slow passing of time – as well as an ancient church from the 11th century, together with castle ruins, animals, flowers and fragrances that have remained unchanged over the centuries.
Sibillini Natural Park

The heart of rural Italy, Le Marche has retained its taste for authentic foods, prepared with love and consumed with joy. The slow rhythms of country life teach us how to wait: to wait for the chick to become a hen, to wait for the wild boar joint to roast in the wood oven for 6–8 hours, to wait for the beans to cook over the stove for a whole day until dinner time. Thus in this wonderful land we may find lost tastes, forgotten flavours that bear witness to a world that we are happy to help preserve and offer to our guests. There is a vast choice of places to eat out in the vicinity, with many restaurants within walking distance or a few minutes’ drive.
